The Heart Cry Of A Mother(Nation)

Give us a future and a hope

Our sons are in rehabilitation centres because of substance abuse.

Some are in correctional centres because of rape, gangsterism, murder, and terrible social misbehaviour.

Many are running mad after money, so they've taken to the street of Yahoo slaving away in pursuit of mirage.

Is there still hope for us?

Lord, give us a future and a hope 🙏

That our sons be as plants grown up in their youth!

Our daughters have become the sacrifice for rituals.

Their body parts is being sold as if it were that of a goat or cow.

They've taken to the street of prostitutions in a bid to survive or belong.

Our young daughters have lost their innocence because of evil men who defiled them at tender age.

The street is no longer safe for our daughters.

Is there hope for us?

Lord, give us a future and a hope 🙏

That our daughters may be as corner stones, polished after the similitude of a palace.

Our store house is empty!

There is scarcity and want.

We owe so much,

Such an economy!

Is there hope for us?

Lord, give us a future and a hope🙏

That our garners may be full, affording all manner of store: that our sheep may bring forth thousands and ten thousands in our street: that our oxen may be strong to labour (make our economy a producing economy not just consumers); that there be no breaking in nor going out; that there be no complaining in our streets.

Make us a genuinely happy nation.

May every Nigerian choose God as their Lord for therein lies true and genuine happiness.
