GRATITUDE JOURNAL

Gratitude is what draws us closer to God whenever we feel inadequate or underachieved.

Often times when we read about other people's achievements or success story, we often compare with ourselves. When we weigh the results or the followership other people or brands are pulling in comparison with ours, we get that feeling of inadequacy or an underachiever feeling which may be compounded by many other negative feeling that accompanies such thoughts process.

When we dwell so much on this, it blinds us from seeing what God has done for us; in us and through us. In my opinion, I feel like unhealthy comparison is a demon we all have to deal with especially in this age. The major weapon of fighting this is Gratitude.

It is so refreshing to sit back and reflect on the goodness of God. Naturally, your mind begin to pour over all the little miracles you might have skipped if you had dwelled on unhealthy comparison. This is therapeutic!

You are you! Your path is so different from others!
Celebrate other people's success and achievements, but be grateful for your path, your little wins, the life you have, the dream God has kept alive in you and the million little miracles you have.

What are you thankful for?(share with me in the comment session).

Be thankful for what worked and learn from what didn't work. Pick up yourself from where you fail. Failure is not the opposite of success, it's a path to success. Never give up! Try again!!!

Face your fears, one step at a time until you completely defeat that foe.

(For we dare not make ourselves of the number, or compare ourselves with some that commend themselves: but they measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves among themselves, are not wise. 2 Corinthians 10: 12)

Be wise, fight the temptation of unhealthy comparison with the weapon of gratitude while you partner with the Holy Spirit to become a better person on your path to the fulfilment of destiny.

Shalom!!!
